The Watcher — Amber features Gremlin, a female Great Horned Owl I photographed at a PERCH Wildlife Education event at the Environmental Learning Center in Oregon City. Seeing this magnificent bird up close was a rare opportunity to appreciate the beauty and presence of these remarkable animals.
I combined my original wildlife photography with a handmade gel plate monoprint, creating a richly textured portrait in warm amber tones.
