The Cattail Acrobat

$6.00

On a spring afternoon at Cook Family Park, along the Tualatin River in Oregon, I watched this female Red-winged Blackbird move from cattail to cattail, clinging to the slender stalks in all sorts of impressive positions. I was fascinated by her agility and the beautiful patterns of her feathers.

Created from my original wildlife photography and layered with textures from my handmade gel plate monoprints.

5 x 7-inch folded greeting card. Blank inside. Printed on substantial 230 gsm, bright white matte card stock in my Oregon City, Oregon home studio using professional-quality inks. Each card is paired with a bright white envelope and packaged together in a clear protective sleeve.
