A Barn Owl Named Twig is an original Barn Owl greeting card based on a photograph I took at a PERCH Wildlife Education event at the Environmental Learning Center in Oregon City. Twig's pale, heart-shaped face and beautifully patterned feathers were especially striking up close.
I paired my original photograph with a hand-pulled monoprint, bringing the print’s soft colors and textures into his portrait.
5 x 7 folded greeting card. Blank inside. Printed on substantial 230 gsm, bright white matte card stock in my Oregon City, Oregon home studio using professional-quality inks. Each card is paired with a bright white envelope and packaged together in a clear protective sleeve.
